May Update - 2013 Sponsors Confirmed

As it’s now May and the weather is showing signs of warming up we thought it was time to give you all a quick update on how the preparations for the 2013 East of England Koi Show being held in Cambridgeshire at the Huntingdon Racecourse were coming along!

Firstly, we’re pleased to announce that Koyoshi Premium Koi Foods, The Japanese Koi Company and RotoInnovations have joined us as show sponsors for this year with each of them bringing many years of experience to the table as we finalise the finer details of the show, further more we’re pleased to have agreed another great sponsorship arrangement in the shape of the UK Ogata Koi Dealers Network via their representative UK dealers of Coastal Koi, Dock Koi, Koi Logic and Koi Masters who have agreed to sponsor the centre ring in its entirety.

With regards to the centre ring and the exhibition koi we’re pleased to say that we have nearly 50 vats currently booked, and, with some of the best known names on the show scene bringing their living jewels to Cambridgeshire we know we’re going to have a fantastic display of koi for you to see.

Once you’re done looking over the koi and trying to work out for yourself which one is going to take the Grand Champion prize you’ll find a wide array of koi dealers selling both all the dry goods you could possibly need for your pond as well as a wide range of koi for you to choose from and a selection of craft stalls offering you another chance to spend your koi tokens! in fact, due to unprecedented demand we’ve had to increase the amount of Marquee space to fit everyone in that wants to attend!

You’ll also be pleased to know that there is a choice of catering outlets on site including a licensed bar to keep you fed and refreshed during your stay at the show.

So, if you’re planning on coming along, to what will be the largest koi show ever staged in Cambridgeshire, then make a note of the dates in your diary and make sure you don’t miss it. The show is taking place over the weekend of the 20th and 21st of July at the Huntingdon Racecourse, Brampton, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, PE28 4NL which is easily found directly off the A14 and only a few minutes from the A1 and M11, full directions can be found by clicking here.

The Koi Show | 2013 Show Venue Confirmed

After organising the Cambridgeshire Koi Show for the past 2 years and seeing it grow and develop into one of the most popular shows of the year, show chair Sally knew exactly what she was looking for when it came to planning a show for 2013!

“Having outgrown our current space and knowing that it wasn’t the most accessible we started looking for a new venue that would allow for easy, major road, access for everyone, more space for the dealers, plenty of parking and a range of hotels nearby for those wishing to stay during the weekend. Other considerations were to ensure that the local council would once again allow us a licence for the sale of Koi at the show and a plentiful supply of good water!
